Released on April 17, Loopers Deeper, the second full-length album by the Joon Park Group, explores the flow of the post-pandemic world and the recurring patterns of human choices. Focusing on the irony of progress, the album reflects how we often return to familiar cycles even as we move forward. Each track forms part of a continuous narrative shaped by the idea of circulation. With the addition of saxophone to the existing lineup, the horn-driven sound is further expanded. Through improvisation and interaction, the ensemble creates a dense and cohesive musical texture. Rather than offering answers, Loopers Deeper leaves a question—what choices are we making within these repeating cycles?
